Oven grilled Jamaican jerk chicken
- Chicken (drumsticks or thighs)
1/4 tsp Browning
3/4 tsp Hot pepper sauce (add more or less)
You always have to wash your hands before you start cooking.
Wash the chicken through and place in a bowl.
Add all the ingredients in the chicken bowl (vegetable oil, browning, nutmeg, hot pepper sauce, Jamaican jerk seasoning, salt, ginger and garlic).
Coat the chicken with the ingredients. Put the chicken in a freezer bag or leave it in the bowl and cover with cling firm. Place in the fridge and allow to marinate for 2 hours or over night.
Preheat the oven grill in a low heat. Line the baking tray with foil. Once chicken is out of the fridge, use thong or your hands/finger to lay the chicken in the tray.
Place the baking tray in the oven and let it cook for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, flip the chicken to the other size and allow to cook for another 10 minutes. Serve hot.
